Women’s 历史 Month Film Screening: Marianne
6:30 p.m. Thursday, March 21
Kenworthy Performing 艺术 Center
“Marianne” follows seven Muslim women challenging bans on wearing hijabs, 头巾, 面罩的, and abayas at school and in public. Their stories resonate globally, urging viewers to reevaluate liberty, 女权主义, and Western identity. Tickets are free for students with a valid ID and $10 for general admission. There will also be a catered reception and opportunity to win raffle prizes.

In honor of Farmworker’s Awareness Week, decorate bandanas with inspiring messages to be displayed and given to farmworker women who experienced violence in the fields. A light lunch and supplies provided. 欢迎所有人.
